Since the dawn of time, graphic design students have been forced to code...

I am a student, therefore I must study. This semester I am learning a lot about coding and creating a portfolio website! This is the beginning of my journey as I learn how to make a visually appealing site.

This will eventually be my portfolio website

Over the course of the fall 2024 semester, I will be building my portfolio website. I will have my best work on display, as well as my résumé and contact information.

Until then, here is a picture of my dog:

Making My Portfolio Website:

  1. Codebase: I've set up the skeleton of my code for this site so I can start making pages, adding content, and most likely breaking things as I go. I documented my work as I set things up.
  2. Content: I've written the content for my site and I am working on collecting all of the images that I need for the projects that I plan on including in my portfolio.
  3. Layout: I am going to be using Bootstrap as the framework for my layout, but I have to learn how to use it first!
    1. Challenge 1
    2. Challenge 2
    3. Challenge 3
  4. Aesthetics: Once I have all of the content and layout that I need, I can start customizing the look of my website to make it feel more like me.
  5. Content Management: If I can get this project wrapped up early enough, I might be able to learn more about adding content management systems to my website. Fingers crossed I get to learn about Wordpress!

Feel free to explore my website as it grows and develops!
